In order to remind ourselves of the importance of our heritage, April 18th has been designated as the International Day for Monuments and Sites.
The prestigious Athar Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in the Arab Region has announced its short list of nominees for the 2019 Award. Experts from across the Arab world evaluated projects submitted for the award, and included in it the project submitted by the GJU Center for the Study of Natural and Cultural Heritage.
Last week marked the start of the final phase of the Restoration of the Ancient Nabataean Flood Control System in Wadi Madras at Petra Project. The project is funded by the American Ambassadors Fund for a cultural preservation project.
