Biography
Dr Ahmad B. Albadarin holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, UK, and an MBA from the University of Limerick, Ireland. He has over 15 years of academic and research experience across leading institutions in the UK, Ireland, Lebanon and Jordan, including Queen’s University Belfast, the University of Limerick and the American University of Beirut.
His research spans particle and powder technology, advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing, process modelling and optimisation, and sustainable chemical engineering. He focuses on developing scalable and sustainable technologies for pharmaceutical and environmental applications, bridging fundamental research with industrial implementation.
Dr Albadarin has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed research publications, holds two patents and has secured over USD 3 million in research, industrial collaboration and curriculum development funding.
His professional experience encompasses research leadership, multidisciplinary programme development, international research collaboration and industry engagement. He has led research centres and strategic initiatives, building partnerships that advance applied research, technology transfer and commercialisation. His work is driven by translating scientific innovation into industrial solutions and supporting sustainable, technology-driven economic development.
